Who we are

This policy explains how Core Capital by CMR (ABN 99 510 918 094), trading as Core Capital (“we”, “us”), a buyer's agency operating across Adelaide and South Australia, handles personal information. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We only collect information we genuinely need to advocate for you and respond to your enquiry. This may include:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• The details you provide about your property goals — budget, timing, preferred areas, finance position and buying situation (for example, first home, upsize, investment, FIFO or interstate).
• Records of our correspondence, enquiries and Blueprint session notes.
• Basic technical and usage data collected automatically when you use the site (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

We do not ask you to submit sensitive financial documents through this website. Any figures used in the on-site calculator are illustrative and are not stored against your identity.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you — through our enquiry and booking forms, by phone, by email, and during your Blueprint session. Some technical information is collected automatically by our website and analytics tools.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your Blueprint session.
• To provide our buyer's advocacy services to you.
• To send you information you have asked for, such as the SA Buyer Briefing (only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To meet our legal, record-keeping and compliance obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to deliver our service or meet a legal obligation, including with:

• Trusted service providers who help us operate — such as our CRM, website hosting, email delivery and analytics providers — who are only permitted to use your information to provide those services to us.
• Third parties you ask us to deal with on your behalf, such as your mortgage broker, conveyancer or solicitor — and only with your knowledge.
• Regulators or authorities where we are required to by law.

Some providers may store data outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Our website uses cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.

How we store and protect it

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing cobi@cmrcapital.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
